19. At the time of Competition launch, Entrants do not require a Recreational Fishing License in the Northern Territory but must comply with any changes in laws during the Competition. Permits are required if entering Aboriginal Land and permits may also be required for access to tidal waters overlying Aboriginal Land for fishing purposes. Information on permit requirements is available from the Northern Land Council on 1800 645 299 or by visiting the website www.nlc.org.au.

22. Entrants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations and permit requirements relating to fishing, vessel operation and access to land or waters in the Northern Territory. Any breach of applicable laws may result in disqualification.
23. Line Fishing is the only accepted fishing technique that may be used by Entrants to catch a Barramundi with a Sportsbet Fish Tag. An Entrant may also use a Landing Net in combination with Line Fishing. Other capturing or fishing methods are not permitted. If there is evidence of the Entrant using a fishing method other than permitted under these Terms and Conditions, the Entrant will be disqualified from receiving the relevant Cash Prize.
24. TENT and its Nominees can, at their discretion, undertake an investigation into the fishing technique used to catch a Barramundi tagged with a Sportsbet Fish tag and may investigate the fishing technique used and determine acting reasonably and having regard to the available evidence whether the fish was caught using Line Fishing in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
25. Subject to clause 24, the Competition is not open to Commercial Fishing Vessels. TENT and its Nominees may determine acting reasonably and based on available evidence whether a vessel constitutes a Commercial Fishing Vessel for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
26. A Recreational Fishing Charter Vessel or Tourism Charter Vessel used by an Entrant is permitted as an eligible vessel to participate in the Competition. An Entrant may be required to prove that a vessel used in connection with the Competition is a Recreational Fishing Charter Vessel or Tourism Charter Vessel.
27. When an Entrant, in a manner compliant with these Terms and Conditions, catches a Barramundi with a Sportsbet Fish Tag, the Entrant must then proceed with the Prize Claim Verification process to qualify for the relevant Cash Prize.
28. The Prize Claim Verification process will include and require the Entrant with a Claim to meet the following requirements:
(a) the Entrant must not remove the Sportsbet Fish Tag. If the Sportsbet Fish Tag is covered with algae, please remove the algae from the Sportsbet Fish Tag before proceeding with photographs;
(b) the Entrant must take a photograph of the fish and Sportsbet Fish Tag in a manner compliant with the sample photographs set out on the Website. Sample photographs can be accessed on www.milliondollarfish.com.au. There are three key photographs required: (1) One photograph must clearly display the front of the fish; (2). One photograph must be taken of the fish on a fish mat, or alongside a ruler or alongside a tape measure to clearly display the length of the fish and be laid out in a manner to display the fish tag; and (3). One close-up photo of the Sportsbet Fish Tag to verify the tag number is also required. The Entrant must not clean, gut or scale the fish prior to taking the photographs and must leave the Sportsbet Fish Tag in place when taking the photographs;
(c) the Entrant must telephone 1800 077 001 and quote the unique code on the Sportsbet Fish Tag to register the Claim and to verify the Cash Prize Value (if any);
(d) for the purposes of determining priority between multiple Claims relating to the same Barramundi bearing a Sportsbet Fish Tag, a Claim will be taken to have been made at the time the Entrant first telephones the verification number and registers the Claim;
(e) the Entrant must send or upload the photographs of the fish to bill@infofishaustralia.com.au for verification by InfoFish;
(f) the Entrant must retain the fish and tag for final verification in accordance with Clause 27;

(h) TENT representatives will undertake verification using a custom RFID reader in accordance with Clause 27.
29. A Sportsbet Fish Tag must be intact, legible and capable of verification at the time of capture. If a Sportsbet Fish Tag is missing, damaged, altered or illegible at the time of capture, the Barramundi will not be eligible for a Cash Prize unless TENT is reasonably satisfied having regard to all available evidence that the fish originally bore a valid Sportsbet Fish Tag and that the integrity of the tag has not been compromised.
30. For the purposes of this Competition, the Entrant entitled to submit a Claim and receive any Cash Prize will be the individual who was in control of the fishing rod or hand line at the time the Barramundi bearing the Sportsbet Fish Tag was hooked. Assistance from other persons in landing the fish including the use of a landing net, gaff or other assistance does not affect the identity of the Entrant who is taken to have caught the fish. Where more than one person claims a prize in relation to the same Barramundi bearing a Sportsbet Fish Tag, the valid claimant will be the person who first registers a Claim unless TENT is reasonably satisfied based on available evidence that another person captured the fish.
31. The Entrant accepts that InfoFish will provide an independent verification assessment to TENT and Sportsbet based on the evidence provided and the requirements of these Terms and Conditions. Subject to applicable law, that assessment will be relied upon in determining whether a Cash Prize is awarded:
(a) If InfoFish deem at their discretion the fish to have been caught using a method other than Line Fishing, the Entrant will be disqualified from receiving the relevant Cash Prize.
(b) If InfoFish deem at their discretion the fish displayed in the photograph uploaded by the Entrant in accordance with Clause 25(d) is not the original fish tagged with a Sportsbet Fish Tag, the Entrant will be disqualified from receiving the relevant Cash Prize.
32. Subject to completing the Claim Verification Process and compliance with these Terms and Conditions, the Entrant will be declared a Cash Prize Winner upon final verification of the Sportsbet Fish Tag using the custom RFID reader. If the Sportsbet Fish Tag does not validate using the RFID reader, the Entrant will be disqualified from receiving the relevant Cash Prize. Upon verification of a winning Sportsbet Fish Tag, the Entrant must surrender the Sportsbet Fish Tag to TENT. TENT may request possession of the fish for evidentiary or promotional purposes including preservation or storage of the fish. Where the fish is retained by TENT, ownership of the fish will transfer to TENT upon verification of the prize. Entrants acknowledge that Barramundi bearing a Sportsbet Fish Tag may remain in circulation outside the Competition Period or after the Competition ends. For the avoidance of doubt, any Barramundi bearing a Sportsbet Fish Tag that is caught outside the Competition Period is not eligible to win a Cash Prize. Any evidence of tampering with, manipulation of, or destruction of the Sportsbet Fish Tag will automatically disqualify the Entrant from receiving the relevant Cash Prize. A Cash Prize will only be payable where the Sportsbet Fish Tag is successfully validated using the RFID verification system.
33. Subject to successful completion of the Claim Verification Process, Cash Prizes will be paid within 30 days of verification unless otherwise agreed. Cash Prizes will be paid by electronic funds transfer to a nominated bank account in the name of the verified Cash Prize Winner.
33. TENT may disqualify any Entrant where it reasonably suspects fraud, collusion, tag tampering, interference with tagged fish or any conduct that compromises the integrity of the Competition.
34. A Cash Prize Winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activity relating to the Competition if reasonably requested by TENT without additional compensation. The Cash Prize Winner consents to TENT, its related bodies corporate and Nominees using the winner’s name, likeness and image captured in connection with the Competition for promotional and publicity purposes relating to the Competition for a period of up to 5 years worldwide.
